Brand | Love & Nudes Love & Nudes, a brand built on making Black women feel seen when it comes to being represented in nude lingerie wanted to do more for the Black community. We discovered Black women have a 40% higher death rate from breast cancer than white women. Additionally, Black women are under-screened and the signs and symptoms of breast cancer present signs as early as 40. So, in addition to creating The Stage Zero Collection, the first ever breast self-exam tools for Black women, we also created a petition to lower the screening age. Not only did we get our collection out to the masses, bringing awareness to the signs & symptoms of breast cancer. But the Canadian Parliament heard us and lowered the screening age by ten years (50 to 40!).
